Your totally right about the amount of potential, but this peice could use some mastery. The kick delay made things a bit crowded, but some decent subs could balance.
At the segment starting at 2:03, boost some mids in the EQ, let that piano come out.

Very minor flaw
I do agree that the drums are a tad bit off, a tad bit lower, with a very subtle reeverb, and its perfect. I also love the piano at the beginning, its a real mood setter.
Multigenre
Khuskan, hybrid genres can be amazing peices of art you know! This track may be made up of spare time, but it sure brings out some emotion.
